Karate South Africa firmly believes “KARATE IS AN OLYMPIC SPORT (Tokyo 2020) AND THEREFORE MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE 2024 PARIS OLYMPICS!!!

The bizarre decision to exclude Karate from the 2024 Paris Olympics by the powers that be needs to be revisited!

We, the karate leaders of the world, cannot afford the OLYMPIC karate dreams of millions of today’s Youth to be shattered!

We, KSA, will not sit back and take no for an answer. WKF be rest assured your fight for justice is our fight !!!

Commonwealth Karate Championships 2018 - An Overwhelming Success

 

"The Commonwealth Karate Championship 2018 held in Durban, an overwhelming success indeed," says Sonny Pillay, newly elected President of the Commonwealth Karate Nations.

The event attracted a record number of countries and athletes.  Whilst Team Botswana dominated the team kumite events winning both the men and women titles, Team KSA were declared overall winners in terms of the medal count having won a total of 24 Gold medals

“The well organised and meticulously executed Commonwealth Championships 2018 augurs well for the possibility of KSA hosting major WKF events in the near future in our country “ concluded newly elected President of CKF, Sonny Pillay Hanshi.
